- Finally home once again, Sara and April started delegating tasks. I ended up at the grill. Carla ran supplies (and hydration) out to me - and ferried finished items to the table. Sara took over table-prep and left April to manage the kitchen. Lauren took veggies and dip. Meghan got the store-bought salads and cottage cheese onto the table. Sara circled back to grab the condiments. Carla grabbed the drinks.
- Soon, we were all seated. April picked up her Diet Coke and held the can up. The rest of us followed suit.
- She looked around the table and said, "To family."
